When two legendary names – one known for automotive luxury and the other for motorcycle engineering excellence – collide, the result is nothing short of sensational. The Aston Martin and Brough Superior AMB 001 Pro is not just a motorcycle; it is a hyperbike, a track-only sculpture of speed and carbon fiber, inspired by Aston Martin’s “no rules” Valkyrie AMR Pro hypercar.
This is the next evolution in the collaboration between the two British marques, dialing up the intensity and performance to a level that truly defies typical two-wheeled standards.
The centerpiece of the AMB 001 Pro is its newly developed engine, meticulously engineered by Brough Superior. It is powered by a 997cc, dual-cylinder, DOHC V-twin engine that delivers a ferocious 225 horsepower. This represents a 25% increase over its already potent predecessor, the standard AMB 001.
But the raw power is only half the story. The “Pro” benefits from extreme weight savings, boasting a dry weight of just 175 kg (386 lbs), largely thanks to its extensive use of carbon fiber bodywork and an innovative structural engine design. This combination results in an astounding power-to-weight ratio of 1.28 hp/kg – a figure that truly puts it in Formula One territory. The entire engine crankcase is CNC-machined from a solid billet of AL 5000 aluminum, ensuring structural stiffness and improved cooling necessary for this level of extreme performance.
The aesthetics of the AMB 001 Pro scream performance. Every line and curve is dictated by the wind, drawing clear parallels with the Valkyrie AMR Pro.
Like all great Aston Martin projects, the AMB 001 Pro is defined by its exclusivity. This track-only superbike is strictly limited to just 88 units worldwide.
Each machine is hand-assembled at the Brough Superior factory in Toulouse, France, ensuring a level of craftsmanship and attention to detail reserved only for ultra-luxury goods.
For the serious collector and track enthusiast, the AMB 001 Pro represents the pinnacle of luxury design fused with uncompromising track engineering. It’s more than a fast bike; it’s a dynamic piece of art designed to dominate the circuit.
